During PPP sessions we were really encouraged to pursue internships or shadowing opportunities in real studios to get some perspective on how things operate in real life and what is expected of us. I thought it would be exiting to try my luck in it. Realistically I know I don't really stand a chance because I started pursuing a summer job quite late. Last minute actually, but at this point of the year my motto is "at least I tried" so might as well give it a shot. I have researched some local studios and emailed them asking for info on any job opportunities they might have, and so far the search has not been successful because most of the studios have not got back to me, but the few that did said they are not looking for anyone at the moment. I can't afford a week, lead alone a month without getting paid at the moment so I was hoping for some paid internships. But beggars can't be choosers so I would tae what ever I would get just for experience.
So the studios I tried to get in thouch with were- Hungry Sandwich Club, Little Motel Motion studio, Distant Future studio, Teabag, Motiv productions. I tried to contact local studios because my financial situation really restricts me from moving commuting somewhere far away. If nobody gets back to me I will just keep spamming until they do, because I am definitely not looking forward to being a waitress for another year.
